Event Description :
WHERE: Castle River Rodeo and Campground WHEN: May 31st to June 2nd WHY: Lions Clubs International is promoting Diabetes Awareness. The MDC Lions Cavalcade for Diabetes Awareness committee has been raising funds to support Diabetes Canada awareness programs for over 25 years. Funds raised are directed to MDC Lions Cavalcade for Diabetes Awareness to help Diabetes Canada to continue to operate the T.D.R.P. (Traveling Diabetes Resource Program) program. Presentation by Diabetes Canada Saturday 10:30AM Activities (games, cards, horseshoes) Saturday 1:00 – 3:00 PM Parade of Green 3:00 PM Meals provided by Cowley Lions Club: Saturday lunch (Noon) $ 5.00 Saturday supper (5:00PM) $20.00 Sunday Morning Pancake Breakfast: Donation SILENT AUCTION bids open Fri. May 31st 4:30PM to Sat. June 1st 4:30PM Donations for Silent Auction greatly appreciated. Clothing Collection Bins available Prior registration is required.
