Community Safety

Pincher Creek is policed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police  and our citizens feel protected and secure in a community with a low crime rate and high quality of life.  The Town employs one full time and one part time Community Peace Officer, who enforce the Town bylaws and certain provincial statutes.

In a country internationally recognized for it’s low crime rate, Alberta takes pride in having the lowest crime rate in Canada.  Overall, Canada's crime rate has been decreasing for the past decade, as has our violent-crime rate, according to Statistics Canada.
