Our regular business hours are Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm

If you have an emergency after hours, call the Town Office Main Line at 403-627-3156.

You will hear the prompt “if this is an emergency, press # [pound] to be forwarded to the Town’s Answering Service”.  You will then be forwarded to the Town’s third-party after-hours answering service.

After gathering your contact information and a summary of the situation, the answering service will determine whether the concern requires immediate response or if it can be scheduled for the next business day. If the concern is determined to be an emergency, or an item that needs to be dealt with in a timely fashion, the answering service will contact the Town’s on-call staff member. This staff member will also review the summary to confirm whether the concern needs to be responded to immediately.

Examples of concerns that would likely require after-hours response:

  • Watermain breaks
  • Sewage back-ups and blockages
    • Note: Our staff will respond to determine if there is a blockage within the Main Line, not the service line. If the Main Line is clear, we will contact our third-party contractor the next business day to respond and camera the service.
  • Downed trees blocking driving lanes
  • Facility concerns (eg. furnace not working)

Examples of concerns that will not be responded to after hours but rather dealt with during regular business hours:

  • Requesting garbage pick-up that was missed
  • Animal Control (eg. loose dog, baking dog)
  • Rain accumulation
  • Town Gym users wanting temperature adjusted
  • Dead animal (eg. deer)
