Memorial Community Centre Arena 

The Memorial Community Centre Arena was opened in 1963 and renovated in 1974 to host events for the Canada Winter Games. The winter arena season typically runs from October 1 to March 31, and offers a wide variety of tournaments, games, drop-in opportunities and special events.

Out of Town Tournaments (Winter Rentals)

We have a fabulous facility and are happy to host out of town tournaments. Our community has partnered together to create some hockey specific deals and discounts to encourage you to come experience to the famous southern Alberta hospitality that the Town of Pincher Creek offers. Beverly McLachlin Drive will be closed between Frederick Street and Adelaide Street from May 1 to May 2 to allow for the installation of a utility services.

PRESS RELEASE – STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT
April 24, 2024
April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
