The Town of Pincher Creek is pleased to announce that we are now accepting payments with select credit cards. Payments for certain Town services may be paid online or through the Town Administration Office.

Services Currently Offered on Credit Card

In order to make your payments online, there are some required numbers on your notices/bills that you will need. Choose the service type below for instructions on how to find those numbers required to make your payments.

Utility Payments

In order to pay your utility bill using your credit card, you will need the UTLITIES ACCOUNT NUMBER. This can be found on your utility bill and is 10 digits.

Tax Payments

You will be asked for your ROLL NUMBER when entering payment information for your taxes. This can be found on your tax notice and is 12 digits.

What is OptionPay?

OptionPay is a payment card system the Town uses for its online and credit card transactions. You can find more information on OptionPay by visiting their website here.

Is there an added fee to using my credit card to pay my Town bills?

Yes. All transactions carried out through OptionPay follow a tiered fee schedule, starting at a minimum fee of $2.00. To see the full fee schedule for using this payment option, please visit their fee schedule here.

Why is there an added fee to pay with credit card?

The fees are administered through the OptionPay program for the use of their service, and not through the Town of Pincher Creek.

Is my credit card/information secure with this program?

OptionPay provides information on their security measures here. Please note that the Town of Pincher Creek takes no responsibility for and accepts no liability in the event of security breaches, technical difficulties, or other issues that may arise from your use of OptionPay. All users accept responsibility for their use of this service and do so at their own risk.
