Event Description :
Welcome to an extreme Freeride Festival weekend at Castle Mountain Resort. There are going to be incredible big mountain events that are focused on tricks, style, and technical trail features. The main event will be the International Free skiers & Snowboarders association (IFSA) junior free Ski/Snowboard competition, commencing Friday morning and happening throughout the weekend. This event puts the competitors to the test on incredibly challenging big mountain features. With athletes competing from all over and pushing themselves to the limit, this is going to be one adrenaline filled competition.

PRESS RELEASE – STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT

April 24, 2024 - For immediate release – On Monday, April 22, 2024, Town Council passed the amended Water Utility Bylaw. Changes to the bylaw include the trigger points for enacting water restrictions in the Town of Pincher Creek. This update was requested by the province as part of the Town of Pincher Creek’s Drought Management Plan.
 
The Town of Pincher Creek has moved from Stage 2 Water Restriction to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation effective April 24, 2024 based on the Water Utility Bylaw 1631-24 revisions of April 22, 2024.
